Back to Your Nature is a narrative commercial for Valais Tourism. The film follows a digital avatar escaping a cold, artificial world and stepping into the landscapes of Valais for the first time. As she crosses a mysterious portal into the Swiss Alps, her senses slowly awaken through nature, mountain air, water, and light.
Rather than showcasing landmarks or activities, the film stays close to one character and her transformation. Moving through alpine meadows, forests, thermal waters, and traditional villages, she shifts from a synthetic presence into a fully human being, each encounter reconnecting her with the elements and the people who inhabit this landscape.
This is a narrative commercial that trades the standard tourism shot list for emotional transformation, blending poetic imagery, abstract storytelling, and cinematic nature photography to let viewers feel the place rather than tour through it.
Back to Your Nature was directed by StyleWar (Oskar Holmedal & Martin Sjöström) and produced by TUNA production for Valais/Wallis Promotion. Samuel Laprand served as producer on the film under the supervision of executive producers Tufan Tuna and Derya Tuna, contributing to production planning, on-set coordination, and delivery.
Filming across Valais meant moving between distinct elemental environments: alpine meadows, forests, thermal waters, and traditional villages. Each location carried its own approach to light, blocking, and logistics, which the production had to absorb without losing the quiet, atmospheric register the story required.
